With extensive experience in both counseling and diagnostic assessments, Sari brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and personal insight to guiding professionals through this training. Since beginning her work in 2008, she has conducted a hundreds of assessments in diverse settings, including juvenile detention centers, multiple DFW area school districts, and private practice. Her passion for helping clients achieve meaningful progress, coupled with her experience working with culturally diverse populations across all ages, allows her to teach assessment skills with clarity, empathy, and practical relevance. Her professional journey, enriched by her personal experiences navigating life transitions and challenges, gives her a grounded perspective that she gladly shares with participants, and being an engaging and supportive guide in building both competence and confidence in diagnostic assessment.

Diagnostic Assessment for Mental Health Provides in Texas
Join a comprehensive training led by Sari Dangler, MS, LPC-S, LSP, focused on learning how to complete Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments for children and adults using DSM-5-TR criteria. This workshop is interactive and covers ethical and state testing rules, psychometric principles, essential assessment components, and the use of online rating scales across multiple areas of functioning. Participants will explore differential diagnosis processes and appropriate assessment tools for major conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depressive, and Learning Disorders, while gaining familiarity with key diagnostic instruments and guidance for further professional training. We will go over the evaluation process in detail and hands on training and active discussion in on-going.
Most of the second half of the training focuses on interpreting standardized form information, looking at sample score reports, making diagnostic decisions based on evaluation data, etc. based on case vignettes.
